Confidentiality
Everything disclosed during therapy are kept confidential with the exception of reported abuse to a minor, elderly or handicapped individuals. Additionally, if a client insinuates that he/she is a threat to themselves or others, Florida mandates that this be reported.
Fees
Therapy sessions are 50-60 minutes or 80-90 minutes depending on the unique needs of the client. I currently do not accept insurance, call to inquire about rates. All payments are due prior to your session when you check. Credit cards (Visa and Mastercard) and cash are accepted. Contact me for more information.
Super bills can be provided to individuals who have a psychiatric diagnosis, however they are not applicable to couples therapy.
Cancellation Policy
As a courtesy to other clients and respect for my time, I require at least 24 hours notice for cancelled appointments. If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy session or have not notified me within 24 hours, you will be required to pay the full cost of the missed session. I appreciate your cooperation.
Good Faith Estimate
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
- You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
- Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
- If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
