About Me
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and have my masters degree from Nova Southeastern University. Growing up in south Florida has exposed to me a variety of people, of many cultures, from all walks of life. I am fascinated by people and their differences, providing me with a profound interest in human behaviors and exploring why we do what we do and why we feel how we feel. I have been working in South Florida as a therapist for nearly a decade, helping people overcome crippling negative thinking patterns, striving towards happiness and knowing the self.
My modalities include but are not limited to cognitive behavior therapy, humanistic therapy, coaching, and solution oriented approaches. My methods are designed for increased self reflection, insight into ourselves and others, and love for the self. Couples therapy makes up at least 50% of my practice, for which I use elements of emotional attachment theory and Gottman methods. I am currently receiving training towards Gottman theory methods and emotionally focused couples therapy. In addition, I have training in addiction and have been certified as an addiction professional.
I know it can be difficult to take the first step in reaching out for help, so I offer a free 15-minute consultation as a way to get to know each other. I'm excited to help you on your path to healing and happiness!
